Three Musicians, with strict policy, and artist integrity. Heavy rock music may not be for the whole family. This may not play well at a coffee shop. Originating material all the way back to 2007 and continuing to develop into the band you continue to see today. HH finally released "Wild Heart" in 2013, and by the time we did, we were already done with the music of that era and went immediately back into writing mode. What came out of the 2014 writing and sessions at Soundhouse Studios was "JOKE PARADE" ! This album was a politically and emotionally charged beast that had to be released. By the time JP finally hit the internet or sold a CD in 2016, the band was once again ready to start writing the next. Between '16 and '22 was some of HH's rockiest points, when the band questioned everything they were doing. We had to force each other to grow and make some major personal decisions in order to keep it moving forward. But out of turmoil came writing recorded at Houdini's Tree in Seattle by David Green and Mastered by Ed Brooks at Resonant Sound. The album "BURN TOGETHER" was released in 2022.
Thick slabs of grilled meat, potatoes & onions and sautéed mushrooms. It's a full in-your face op-ed drenched sit down, elbows on table top and brace for a wide bite. Heavy low sludge of bass, battering ram drums, deep low growl of guitar, riff after riff, and plundering words of chase, draw circles around the eyes of our loves and fears.
Content is full of curiosity, playing on the day's stresses, and the commitment / loyalties we all strive to conquer. Family is housed, clothed and fed, and we still have to punch in a few more hours of work to make sure our minds don't explode with the spinning chaos of music that fills the room wall to wall. These thoughts punch holes in walls and leave a lot of laundry still to be sorted before bed.
